Welcome to my blog!

My name is Lynnette and I’m a passionate creative, millennial Boricua, and magical geek girl in Central Florida.

I was born and raised in the tropical island of Puerto Rico, where I developed my bilingual skills watching Disney movies as a child and learned how to sew in my teenage years thanks to my abuela so I can cosplay my favorite anime characters. I’ve been living in the Sunshine State for over a decade, with my husband and our cat Wicked (a feisty creature of an orange cat). Beforehand, we had two dearly-departed pets: our chubby grey cat Pellet and Anime, a one-eyed rescue dachshund.

This blog was made as part of my graduate school’s personal branding class, where I can share all about my interests and hobbies such as bullet journaling, media fandoms, cosmic enchantment (astrology, crystals, tarot,etc.), and other topics. Essentially, it’s a blog where I can be unapologetic in terms of embracing my geeky lifestyle posts, personal essays and other relevant updates such as video uploads.

Between working on this blog, my day job in editorial content marketing, and a decade’s worth of experience in multimedia communications, there’s a big chance you’ll find me carrying around my mirrorless camera, trusted pen and notepad.
